Early Access to Juno available for existing HPC Users

Dear HPC users,

The High Performance Computing (HPC) team is pleased to announce that Juno is now ready to accept existing HPC users in Early Access mode. As part of our phased rollout, we invite current users to request accounts and begin migrating their workloads to Juno.

If you are interested in obtaining an account on Juno, please complete the online HPC Account Request Form. Requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

To ensure an organized onboarding process:

  • Faculty PIs should submit requests on behalf of themselves and each member of their research group.
  • As part of the request process, PIs will be asked to report their grants and publications to help document the impact of HPC resources on research at UTD.
  • We will create accounts in batches and work closely with each group to assist in transitioning their computation to Juno before onboarding the next group.
  • Account creation will take 4 to 5 days once your batch is ready for onboarding. We will communicate your spot in the queue via email.

If you wish to be in the early groups granted access, we encourage you to submit your request as soon as possible.

If you have general questions about Juno, please contact hpc@utdallas.edu. For technical support for HPC systems, please send your requests to circ-assist@utdallas.edu. Thank you.
